Danny Mui, a senior majoring in music eduation at Western Michigan University won first place in the National Society of Arts & Letters Mid-Michigan Chapter Music: Woodwinds Competition held Saturday at the University of Michigan. Danny, a clarinet musician, will go on to represent the Chapter at the National Competition that will take place in May in Charleston WV. He will compete for the top prize of $10,000 among the finalists from seventeen chapters located across the US. Additional prizes are available.
