Abracadabra's Magic Class

Kids ages 6-12 are invited to sign up for a fun magic class at the Recreation Center.

Professional magician Barry the Great will conduct an illusion building workshop where children will learn to create illusions from everyday objects and then present them to the class in a magic show setting. Tricks covered include the vanishing and reappearing bunny illusion, a vanishing card trick, jumping magic coin maneuver and many more.

Kids will take home the illusions they crafted in class, and take home a wand, hat and certificate of completion.

Plus, Barry will cap off the class with a special magic performance with Tiger the Bunny.

Besides having fun, kids will gain confidence in performing and public speaking.

Cost is $25 for residents and $30 for non-residents. A $10 material fee is due in class. Class size is limited, so be sure to register by calling 586-992-2900.
