The Clinton River Watershed Council is holding a free presentation at the Washington Township Municipal Offices. Attend and discover the benefits of rain gardens and rain barrels. Rain gardens are designed to direct water from your rooftop, driveway or lawn and into the soil, watering your lawn and gardens instead of draining off to nowhere. You'll learn how to build and make them be beautiful; attract beneficial wildlife; the importance of using native plants; protecting water resources; and building your own rain barrel.
