The Giver is set in a futuristic society, and focuses on the relationship between the young Jonah and his mentor, The Giver. As Jonah gets schooled for his role as the Receiver of Memories, he uncovers dark truths that shock him as well as the audience.
A pre- and post-show interactive discussion is planned, where the audience will explore themes of individuality and ethics. Best for ages 10 and up. Total performance time is 90 minutes, which includes pre- and post-show talks.
