Bring the kids to Wolcott Mill Historic Center for Maple Sweetness. They'll explore how maple syrup is made, learn to identify and tap maple trees, and how to boil sap. Plus they'll see types of simple equipment and make related crafts.
A film will show the history of and commercial methods of syrup production. Plus, kids will enjoy real and “fake” maple syrup and some maple syrup recipes.
Sessions are held at 1 and 3 pm all days.
