Johnson, an American mezzo-soprano, made her Metropolitan Opera debut singing as a bridesmaid in Le nozze di Figaro and Sandman in Hansel and Gretel and her principal artist debut as The Muse/Nicklausse in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann.
