February is American Heart Month, and Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center is doing its part by hosting a free community seminar about heart health.
Dr. Timothy Logan, a board-certified cardiologist affiliated with Mount Clemens Regional, will speak at the Feb. 16 program.
The seminar will focus on risk factors, symptoms, medication, treatment and preventive care for heart disease — the leading cause of death for both men and women. Those who attend will learn the major differences between heart attack symptoms among women and men. The program also includes a question-and-answer period.
The seminar will be held in the Medical Education Auditorium on the hospital’s lower level.
The event is free and dinner will be provided. Please pre-register by Feb. 11 by calling 877-627-6248.
