The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit -- The 1950s: Affluence and Anxiety in the Atomic Age -- is ongoing through May 7, and features a number of presentations about hot topics of the time.
The March 3 presentation is Autoworkers in Detroit in the 1950s. Oakland University professor Daniel Clark, Ph.D., weaves together oral histories to explore job instability and economic insecurity experienced by many autoworkers throughout the decade.
