In "Korea, 1945-1954: Understanding the Unforgotten War," Allan R. Millett, Ph.D., professor, University of New Orleans , traces the war's history, from its beginnings rooted in Asian post-colonial struggles through its broadening into an international conflict beginning in 1950.
