Jack Lessenberry, Michigan Radio (WUOM-FM) commentator, veteran journalist and professor of journalism at Wayne State University, will be at Lorenzo Cultural Center to highlight Detroit in the 1950s, the glory of the decade, the changes bubbling below the surface that would alter the city, area and life as we knew it. This presentation is part of a series of programs, The 1950s: Affluence and Anxiety in the Atomic Age, at the Lorenzo Cultural Center, Hall and Garfield roads, Macomb Community College’s Center Campus.
