Lorenzo Center Presentation: 'Invaded on All Sides: The Story of Michigan's Greatest Battlefield'
The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit, Becoming Michigan: From Revolution to Statehood.
Visitors will learn about the state's early history via exhibits, presentations and activities.
On March 15, Ralph Naveaux, renowned historian on the Battle of the River Raisin, will discuss the largest battle fought on Michigan soil, which was a huge defeat for the American side and one of the bloodiest fights in the War of 1812. The name of the program is "Invaded on All Sides: The Story of Michigan's Greatest Battlefield."

The program is free, but pre-registration is required.
Exhibits are free and don’t require advance registration to view. The Lorenzo Cultural Center is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
