Lorenzo Center Presents 'It's Maple Syrup Time: Stories, Songs and Dances of Old Michigan'

The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit, Becoming Michigan: From Revolution to Statehood.

Visitors will learn about the state's early history via exhibits, presentations and activities.

On March 24, storyteller Genot Picor will bring local stories and legends to life, all connected to making maple syrup. Interactive song and dance is part of "It's Maple Syrup Time: Stories, Songs and Dances of Old Michigan."

The program is free, but pre-registration is required.

Exhibits are free and don’t require advance registration to view. The Lorenzo Cultural Center is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
