Mount Clemens Regional Tells You Why You Need Regular Screenings

Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center wants you to know your numbers so you can better know your health.

How? The hospital is holding a free seminar, "Do You Know Your Numbers," which will show you how simple medical tests for blood pressure rate and glucose and cholesterol levels can reveal how much risk someone is at for chronic health conditions. Such screenings can be life-savers, as they can identify — and even help people avoid — these illnesses.

Dr. Walter Klimkowski, a board-certified family medicine specialist, will tell you why it's important to know these numbers, and what it could mean when these numbers change. Dr. Klimkowski practices with Family Medicine Associates of Macomb in Clinton Township.

The seminar will be held at 6 pm, Thursday, Feb. 10, in the Medical Education Auditorium on the hospital’s lower level.

Although the event is free, registration is required by Feb. 4. Dinner will be provided. To register, please call 877-627-6248.
