Partridge Creek Tree Lighting Ceremony

It's going to look a whole lot more like Christmas come Nov. 13 at The Mall at Partridge Creek.

That's when the tree lighting ceremony will be held, an evening of bright lights and bright spirits.

The event includes several highlights:

  • Santa Claus will arrive at 7 p.m., and he and friends  will turn on the holiday lights -- more than 300,000 of them will have the whole center aglow with cheer.
  • Complimentary cider and donuts will be available (while supplies last)
  • Free light wands will be handed out to the children present, courtesy of "A Christmas Story: The Musical," which is also an event sponsor.
  • Cancel Monday will hold a concert from 3-6 p.m.
  • The Michigan Opera Theatre Community Programs Choir will sing Christmas carols from 6:30-7 p.m.
  • Jay Towers, from Fresh 100, will emcee the event.
