The Township is hosting a Punt, Pass & Kick football skills contest on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Macomb Corners Park.
Punt, Pass & Kick is the official skills contest of the National Football League. It's a fun, free competition that focuses on punting, passing and kicking. The national contest is sponsored by the NFL and coordinated in Michigan through the Michigan Recreation & Park Association.
The competition is open to youngsters 8- to 15-years-old as of Dec. 31, 2011, with separate divisions for boys and girls competing in age 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15. Rules state that all participants provide a copy of their birth certificate at the time of registration in order to be eligible
to participate.

During the competition, participants must wear regular gym shoes. Cleats are not allowed. Each participant will only use the specific equipment (footballs and kicking tee) provided for this event by Macomb Township Parks & Recreation.
