Wolcott Mill Historic Center is holding a Sawdust Festival on July 10. Travel back to life in the 1850s when Michigan was still being settled by pioneers, with the forests being cleared to create farmland. Attend the event and try your hand at using a two-man saw, making rope, dipping candles and more. You'll also hear pioneer stories, discover how cooking was done back in the old days, and much more. Kids can do "chores" and make a toy.
