Sign up for A Special Day for Seniors at the Sterling Heights Senior Center, located east of Dodge Park on Utica Road. The free event is geared toward the 50+ age group.
Seniors will get a complimentary welcome bag that includes a resource guide, healthy snacks and a bottle of water. Exhibitors will offer information on issues of special interest to seniors including home care, assisted living insurance, health care, estate planning, banking, music and funeral planning. Health screenings and free tests will be offered, and hospital representatives will be on hand to answer specific questions. HAP will also be offering free flu shots for those with insurance and only $10 without insurance.
