The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts is presenting a staging of Sue Monk Kidd's best-selling book, The Secret Life of Bees. It's set during the Civil Rights movement. A young girl searches for the truth about her mother and along the way finds three beekeeping sisters who teach her the true meaning of family.
The show is performed by Denise Wilbanks and is directed and adapted by Wynn Handman.
