The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit is The 1950s: Affluence and Anxiety in the Atomic Age. Today's presentation is "The Storm Before the Storm." Distinguished scientist and inventor Stanford Ovshinsky joins his son, multimedia pioneer Harvey Ovshinsky, to share insights about how the Detroit of the 1950s shaped the city and the region in the 1960s. Grandson Noah Ovshinsky, WDET reporter, moderates.
