In Brief: Student Portal on Chippewa's PowerSchool to Open This Week
The parent portal of this web-based application opened at the end of January and the student portal is scheduled to open at the end of this week.

When Chippewa Valley Schools implemented at the end of January, district parents were given access to real-time information about students' grades, attendance, assignments and more. By the end of this week, similar access will be granted to students, too.
Interim Superintendent Ron Roberts said PowerSchool's student portal will open at the end of this week and students can begin using the web-based application to access their academic information.
"So the students can go onto the portal and see how their grades are looking," Roberts said. "There is (a section) where a teacher can post comments and that I believe is the only section that students don't have access to. Students can't sign up for email reports to themselves, only parents can do that."
