It's the Principal: Q&A with Lutheran North's John Reincke
As October is National Principals Month, Patch asked Lutheran North Principal John Reincke to share his thoughts on the role of school principal and his vision for the Lutheran North community.

To honor all the principals who are also our pals, the U.S. Senate has declared the month of October to be National Principals Month.
In Macomb Township alone, this includes more than 50 principals and assistant principals who oversee the area's public and private schools.
While each principal may have his or her own leadership technique, all have a vision of progress and goal of success for their school community. Patch recently asked John Reincke, principal of , to share his thoughts on these topics and others.

Macomb Patch: How do you define the role of principal?
John Reincke: Servant leader for the faculty.

Macomb Patch: What sort of impact do you hope to have on Lutheran North's community?
Reincke: To offer a Christian education of the highest quality to every student.
Macomb Patch: What is your favorite thing about your job?
Reincke: Having students who struggled at LHN when they were in our building come back after they leave or graduate and say that they now get what we were trying to do.
Macomb Patch: What is the greatest advantage and disadvantage in education today?
Reincke: Using technology as a tool to enhance learning and affording that technology.
Macomb Patch: The million-dollar question, if someone gave you $1 million for your school, how would you use it?
Reincke: I would set up a trust fund to help families that would love to send their kids to LHN but can't afford it.
