L’Anse Creuse Public Schools to offer free lunch over summer

L'Anse Creuse Public Schools has partnered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to offer free lunch while school is out.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – L’Anse Creuse Public Schools has partnered with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to offer free lunch while school is out. This summer, meals will be served at Marie C. Graham Elementary, Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. starting June 24 and ending August 23. Any child under age 18 is eligible to participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

The SFSP was established to ensure low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals that meet federal nutrition guidelines, when school is not in session. For more information about the national Summer Food Service Program, visit http://www.fns.usda.gov/summer-food-service-program-sfsp
