Local Detroit Resident Wins GMC Truck from Parts Galore

Detroit’s largest and original self-serve auto parts retailer, Parts Galore, recently announced the winner of a GMC Truck as part of its 10th anniversary celebration. Detroit resident, Michael Bagley, is driving away with a new truck just in time for the new year.

“We wanted to come up something big to do for our 10-year anniversary, so we decided to give away a new pick up truck,” said Joshua Miller, general manager at Parts Galore. “Most of our customers are driving vehicles that are 10-years or older and usually need constant maintenance or up-keep. What better way to reward one of our customers than to give them a new multi-purpose vehicle that would be dependable and something they wouldn’t have to worry about constantly having to fix for a while.”

Bagely won the truck as part of a contest held by Parts Galore throughout 2015, selecting a winner in December. Customers purchasing from Parts Galore were automatically given a chance to win the truck.

“Winning the truck is awesome. I’ve been going to Parts Galore for about five years to get parts for my family’s van,” said Bagley. “Any time I can fix something myself, it saves us money and Parts Galore is so organized and helpful that it really is worth it.”

Bagley, works in furniture delivery and didn’t have a car of his own prior to winning the GMC truck from Parts Galore. “I was in to get a transmission for our family’s van and that is when I entered the contest. Now I have a truck of my own, it’s great,” said Bagley.

“We’re happy to see Michael as the winner of this giveaway. Bagley is often seen pulling parts at each of our locations—it is only fitting that he will be the one behind the wheel,” said Miller.
