New Haven School Staff Brings Cold Water to Their Powerless Neighborhoods

NEW HAVEN, MI - Storms on Monday brought power outages to several neighborhoods within the New Haven school district.  Twelve staff members gathered their wagons and walked the neighborhoods on Tuesday with coolers full of ice cold water for residents.  "Each summer we visit some of our neighborhoods to let them know about things like our Free College program, "said Keith Wunderlich, New Haven Community Schools superintendent.  "When we heard our residents at Card and 24 Mile Roads were out of power, we changed our goal from marketing to helping."  If you would like to learn more about our Free College program, please call 586-749-5123.
