Sheetz Opening New Macomb County Location This Week

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI — Popular mid-Atlantic gas station and convenience store chain Sheetz is opening a new Macomb County store this week.

The new location will open Wednesday at 50980 North Avenue in Macomb Township.

The grand opening will include remarks from company representatives and local leaders, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and giveaways for attendees.

The giveaways will take place between 9 and 11 a.m. and include:

• 10:15 a.m. – $250 Sheetz Gift Card Drawing
• 10:30 a.m. – $250 Sheetz Gift Card Drawing
• 10:45 a.m. – Grand Opening Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting
• 11 a.m. – $2,500 Sheetz Gift Card Drawing

The new location comes after Sheetz recently opened new locations in Fraser and Taylor, giving them 12 Michigan stores.

Overall, they are planning to open between 50 and 60 stores in Michigan over the next 5-6 years.

The chain is best known for its award-winning Made-to-Order menu, which allows residents, or "Sheetz Freakz" to order any of Sheetz’s customized drinks or food items around the clock.

Sheetz operates 800+ store locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24/7, 365 days a year.
