VIDEO: Erie Students Add Ukulele to School's Musical Repertoire

Students in Erie Elementary's ukulele band performed for parents and trustees Monday at the Chippewa Valley Schools Board of Education meeting.

With the aid of a Chippewa Valley Educational Foundation grant, Erie music teacher Erica Latowski purchased ukuleles for her music class earlier this year. Practicing in class and after school, the students learned three basic chords they then used to play such songs as "Blowin' in the Wind," "Everybody Loves Saturday Night," "Crawdad Song" and "Rocky Mountain."
