• Three Macomb County schools have proposals on the Nov. 3 ballot (macombdaily.com) — Voters in Macomb Township face a major decision on a $288 million Chippewa Valley Schools bond that would rebuild Ottawa Elementary, upgrade safety and infrastructure at all buildings, and shift capacity as enrollment slows locally. The proposal is structured to avoid raising the current school debt millage, while separate plans in Eastpointe and Almont would increase taxes for their own improvements.
