Manistee County Community Foundation begins downtown plaza expansion (9and10news.com) ā Downtown Manisteeās River Street area is getting a major boost as the Manistee County Community Foundation expands the plaza and fully rebuilds the landmark fountain next to the Municipal Marina park. New ramps, seating, LED lighting and upgraded mechanics aim to create a more accessible, low-maintenance gathering space for events, with work expected to wrap up by late November.

How local bus systems are responding to higher fuel costs (manisteenews.com) ā Rising fuel prices are squeezing Manistee County Transportationās budget, but Dial-A-Ride riders wonāt see service cuts for now.
