• Three finalists named in superintendent search (schoolnewsnetwork.org) — Mason Public Schools’ assistant superintendent Randy Barton is a finalist to lead Kenowa Hills Public Schools, potentially bringing leadership changes back home if he’s selected. Kenowa Hills will interview Barton and two other candidates this Thursday evening, with public sessions and a community meet-and-greet before the board aims to choose a new superintendent by July 1.

Filled with self-care items and encouraging reminders, the bags honor their son Beau while helping other parents feel less alone and more able to talk about their loss.
   

• Highlights: DeWitt and Mason advance to CAAC Gold Cup Final (wlns.com) — Mason High’s girls soccer team is headed to the CAAC Gold Cup final after a 2–0 win over Okemos, with goals from Morgan Trimmer and Harper Artibee. The Bulldogs will face undefeated DeWitt on Thursday at 7 p.m. in DeWitt, giving Mason fans a big late-season matchup to watch.
