• Hart's Porter's last second penalty kick defeats Montague in district semifinals (shorelinemedia.net) — Montague’s girls soccer team saw its district run end in heartbreaking fashion, falling 5-4 at Hart on a penalty kick with just 14 seconds left in regulation. The Wildcats led by two goals in the first half and got scores from several players, but Hart rallied late to advance in the MHSAA district tournament.

Gretchen Whitmer during a visit to North Muskegon’s student-run smoothie program.
