Bill Russell in Concert at MacDonald Public Library, New Baltimore

William Henry Russell is a seasoned performer on the classical guitar and the 2009 Gamble Rogers Finger Picking Champion. “Bill” received a Bachelors Degree in Music from the Boston Conservatory and a Masters Degree in Music from Florida State University. As well as being a classically trained musician he is also an established composer and arranger. Performing in countless cafes, schools, churches and concert halls he has honed his craft while entertaining audiences of both the young and old.

Drawing from his vivid imagination, a classical music background, and a love of pop music, Bill has perfected his own distinctive personal style. An enchanting style that bears a deeper understanding of the music conveyed through an impeccable classical technique. Expect a performance with a wonderful blend of original compositions, music from the classical repertoire, contemporary arrangements, traditional Christian Hymns, along with a touch of Chet Atkins. William Henry Russell creates a musical experience that touches the listener.
