
The Chesterfield Historical Society of Michigan hosts Civil War expert Ron Rorah, who will speak about the Battle of Gettysburg at Chesterfield Township Library the evening of Thursday, Nov. 3. Gettysburg, fought July 1-3, 1863, is the Civil War's bloodiest battle and the turning point for the Union. Rorah will reveal what lead to this violent skirmish and more surrounding those three days.
The program is part of the library's monthly series, "A Little Bit of History."
