Kathy and Kevin Setter, owners of the Green Street McDonald's, are holding a grand re-opening celebration, with a number of special events and promotions going on over the weekend, and a special appearance from Ronald McDonald on the 28th.
On Friday Jan. 20, a special ribbon cutting will be held at 9 a.m., with area civic leaders, regional McDonald's representives, and Master Sgt. Adrian Canchola (an Air National Guard member who recently returned from Afghanistan and the spouse of one of the employees) will all be present.

Customers who drop by will enjoy giveaways and great deals, including:
- Jan. 20: Beginning at 7 a.m., the first 50 customers in the restaurant lobby will receive free Egg McMuffin sandwiches for one year.
- Jan. 21: Beginning at 11 a.m., the first 50 customers in the drive-thru will receive free Big Mac sandwiches for 1 year.
- Jan. 22: The first 50 customers in the restaurant's lobby who buy a McCafe beverage will win a free McCafe travel mug.
- Jan. 20-22: $1 Egg McMuffin and $1 Quarter Pounder with Cheese sandwiches.
- Jan. 20-Feb. 4: $1 Cinnamelts, $4.99 20-piece Chicken McNuggets, and buy-one-get-one-free dessert items from 2-8 p.m. each day.
- Jan. 28: It's Kids Day, and Ronald McDonald himself will make an appearance from noon-1 p.m. The first 100 children in the lobby beginning at 10:30 a.m. will enjoy goodie bags, while supplies last. There are also some great deals planned, including $1 Hotcakes from 7-11 a.m., and $1 Hamburger Happy Meals from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
