The Next Chapter Bookstore & Bistro is hosting a book signing and reception for the author and illustrator of A Sick Day for Amos McGee. This children's book is the winner of the 2011 Caldecott Medal, awarded every year by the American Library Association for the best illustrated children's book. The Steads will talk about how the character, Amos, came to be.
