The author of Please Don't Come Back From the Moon is back with My American Unhappiness. Bakopoulos' second novel is about Zeke Pappas, a widower with alcoholic tendencies, who sets out to figure out why Americans are so unhappy. In the midst of his project, he learns his ailing mother will not allow him custody of his orphaned twin nieces unless he remarries. The author will be in-store to speak briefly, answer questions from fans and sign copies of his new book. Dean Bakopoulos is a professor in the MFA Program in Creative Writing and Environment at Iowa State University.
