Northville's new strings club consists of high school and middle school students who play violin, cello and bass. The club was started in the winter of 2010 by a group of Northville High School violinists. The musicians have performed at several senior homes in the area but this will mark the group's first public performance. The show will start with Northville High School's drumline and will be followed by classical pieces by Handel, Vivaldi and Pachelbel. The performance will also include Disney classic tunes, the theme from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and some famous songs from movie soundtracks.
