"The Cocktail Hour" at the Tipping Point Theatre

"The Cocktail Hour" by A.R. Gurney centers around a playwright named John who has written a play about his family, revealing the good and the bad. Before the show hits the stage, John seeks his father's permission--over cocktails. What plays out is a comedy over drinks. The show runs March 24-April 30 with shows at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and matinees at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. This production is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
