The play, Crimes of the Heart, written by Beth Henley, is a black comedy about sisters and plenty of family drama. The play won the 1981 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 1981 New York Drama Critics' Award for Best American Play. The Tipping Point production is supported in part by an award from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts. The show runs May 19-June 25 with shows Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and matinees on Saturdays at 3 p.m. (except May 21) and Sundays at 2 p.m.
