Tunes on Tuesdays Children's Concert Series

Pack your water bottle, hat and sunscreen for this outdoor concert series, geared towards kids ages 2-6. Performances are held rain or shine but, in the event of inclement weather, the shows will move indoors to Genitti's Hole-In-The-Wall at 108 East Main Street. Here's the lineup for July and August, as listed on the Northville Parks and Recreation website:

July 5: The Gratitude Steel Drum Band

This band mixes the sounds of Caribbean, Hawaiian, and African music creating a soothing sound similar to smooth Jazz. Sponsored by: Monroe Bank & Trust

July 12: The Music Lady, Beverly Meyer

The Music lady provides a wide variety of music and sing-a-longs geared towards children. Sponsored by: Northville Co-op

July 19: Rick Kelley

July 26: Palamazoo, Susan Harrison

Aug 2: Mr. Seley

Mr. Seley provides music aimed at children that is sometimes humorous and sometimes serious. Sponsored by: Northville Co-op

Aug 9: Saline Fiddlers

The Saline Fiddlers is a group of young students that reflect the rural traditions of Saline, MI and ultimately the country.

Aug 16: Zippity2Dads

A family music duo that provides fun, energetic, and educational entertainment. Sponsored by: Northville Co-op

Aug 23: Imagination Theater

This duo offers a one-of-a-kind experience for children of all ages.
