Get Out: Mini Art Hunt, Fun Run and More
Looking for something fun to do over the weekend? Here are our local picks.

- Tonight, check out the Competition, to be held in the town square area. It's free and will feature the competition's finalists, who will begin performing at 6 p.m.
- Also this evening is the "West of Center" All Media Art Exhibit Opening Reception. Held at the , will feature works including bronze, glass mosaic, graphite, wood, acrylic, oil/acrylic, fabric, mixed media collage, assemblage, photography and more. It begins at 6 p.m. but the works will be on display though June 25.
- On Saturday, there is a where clues will take participants around town to find mini pieces of art. is free and will feature the work of William Hessian. It begins at 8 a.m. when clues get posted to Hessian's website. Bonus: you get to keep the art you find, with a limit of one piece per family.
- The grand reopening of the I-275 Metro Trail will be held in Northville on Saturday. For more details and the schedule, check out the .
- is holding its first 5K run and walk. There will also be a fun run for kids. Proceeds will go benefit the OLV school, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Cost to participate varies. View the for more details.
