Northville Stallions Flag Team Battles on Against the Chargers
The Stallions try to shut down the Chargers

Even before the Chargers bolted out onto the field to square off with our gridiron heroes, they knew they were up against a lot. The Stallions fell behind early in the game; but never gave up. The team showed great resolve by matriculating down the field starting from their own 35 yard line to the Chargers 13 before Austin Kersey capped off the drive with a TD gallop. Early in the third quarter, the team had a kickoff TD run called back on a penalty and that would have made the game much closer at the half. The Stallions continued to battle in the 5th and 6th stanzas and managed to spring Jayden Pydyn and Tyler Shelide on TD drives.
The Stallions defense had flashes of brilliance with flag pulls by Colin Stankovic, Graham Ryba, and Carson Nay. As the game progressed, the offense and defense grew more and more confident; but time was not on their side and they ended up losing the game with a 19-34 score.
Next up on the slate for the Stallions is a meeting with the Garden City Cougars. Look for the high powered offense and stout defense to vanquish their foes on Saturday in Garden City.
