• Northville eyes granny flats, redevelopment as future planning begins (freep.com subscription) — Northville is launching a full rewrite of its master plan that could reshape housing, parking, parks, and even long‑term plans for city hall, police, and fire services. Officials are weighing options like accessory dwelling units, small multifamily buildings, and redevelopment of sites such as the former Northville Lumber property, and residents will be invited to help shape the vision over the next 12–18 months.
