• Humane Society of Huron Valley overwhelmed with cats after 4 hoarding cases, seeks adopters (wxyz.com) — Cats from a Northville hoarding case are among 149 felines now crowding the Humane Society of Huron Valley, prompting waived adoption fees for adult cats. Shelter staff describe the unsanitary conditions the animals endured and urge patient adopters to help give these traumatized cats calmer homes and free up desperately needed space.
