• Former Michigan kicker reportedly loses starting job in Washington (mlive.com) — A Northville native, former Michigan kicker Jake Moody, is reportedly losing his starting job with the Washington Commanders despite a strong finish to last season. Moody, who starred at Michigan and grew up in Northville, struggled with longer field goals in training camp while rookie Drew Stevens impressed, prompting Washington to move on just after its preseason opener.
