Greg VanWoerkom, advance to November after decisively winning the Republican primary for Michigan’s 88th House District. The district includes Norton Shores and nearby lakeshore communities, and VanWoerkom will now face Democrat Kiel Reid in the general election. Both candidates previously shared issue positions through the nonpartisan Vote411 voter guide.
