Get Your Boogie Woogie on at Novi Public Library
Matthew Ball aka "The Boogie Woogie Kid" will be playing some musical favorites at the Novi Public Library on September 27th.

Having trained classically with the internationally renowned pianist Flavio Varani, Matthew Ball has been making musical waves since he broke into the Boogie-woogie and Blues genres with the aid of Detroit native and musical legend Bob Seeley. Since then, Ball has been playing shows throughout the Midwest under the moniker the “Boogie Woogie Kid,” and has put out three albums and two books.
Now Ball will be playing a free show for all ages at the Novi Public Library. His set will include a range of blues and boogie arrangements of classic American songs like Swanee River, Over the Rainbow, The Sheik of Araby, 12th Street Rag, Bumble Boogie, and More. Matthew’s program makes for an enjoyable family-friendly event of toe-tapping fun!
Join us on Thursday, September 27 from 11:00 am – 12:00 PM for this musical delight. Make sure you sign-up here first before space runs out! Interested in hearing some songs from the Boogie Woogie Kid himself? Then check out his videos here.
