Wrestling Post Season begins Wednesday
The CC Shamrocks finished the regular season with an 11-4 Dual Meet record. The fifteen matches included eight against squads ranked in the Top 50 in the Nation and earned the Shamrocks a ranking of 17th in the Nation according to Intermat Wrestling. The CC White squad picked up the First Place trophy in the Oakland County Tournament (with 4 Champions) and the CC Blue squad won the Catholic League Championship for the 20th consecutive year (with 6 Champs and 2 Runner Ups).
The Shamrocks will return to the mats on Wednesday February 5th as CC will host the Team District Finals. CC will wrestle South Lyon at 5pm and the winner will take to the mats against Walled Lake Western in the District Finals. Western will not compete in the first round as they received a bye.
