Crime Report: Ecstasy Found in Car, Halloween Decorations Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Novi Police Department for the period of Oct. 11-16. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A car's driver was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license, and one of the vehicle's passengers was arrested on a charge of possession of ecstasy during a traffic stop at 12:52 a.m. Oct. 11, according to a police report.
The vehicle was pulled over on eastbound Interstate 96 near Beck Road because its license plate light was out, and the officer could not see any license plate on the vehicle, the report said. The driver of the car, a Detroit resident, told the officer that she had just bought the car, and there was a temporary Secretary of State plate on the rear windshield, the report said. She was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license, the report said.
The police asked all of the passengers to leave the vehicle because none of them had operator’s licenses, the report said. The officer noticed that one of the passengers had dilated pupils and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, the report said.

The officer searched the vehicle and found a clear plastic baggie with two bright green and pink tablets inside, the report said. The bag was on the right rear side of the front passenger seat and would have been right in front of the leg of one of the girls, the report said. According to the report, the baggie was in a position where only the right rear passenger could have placed it. The other passengers denied it was theirs, and the right rear passenger was arrested on a charge of possession of ecstasy, the report said. According to the report, the pills tested positive for 0.8 grams of ecstasy.
