The Andiamo Novi Theatre has four new productions planned for fall and winter. First in the season is “Beehive: The '60s Musical Sensation,” which will run from Sept. 8 to Oct. 9, with Thursday-Sunday performances.
“Beehive” is energetic musical revue that traces women's music through the hit songs of the girl groups and solo singers of the 1960s. Showgoers will enjoy hearing hits by The Chiffons, The Supremes, Tina Turner, and Aretha Franklin, among many others.
The musical features an all-Michigan cast, including: Kirsten Knisely (hometown: Northville, currently living in Dearborn), Kira Frabotta (Detroit), Samantha White (hometown: Detroit), Jaye Stellini (Livonia), and Allyson Ortwein (Sterling Heights).
