
Come to Kensington Metropark for its Fall Farm Festival this weekend. Visit farm animals, learn about farm life, meet Rosco the Clown, check out the Kids Cottage, or explore a corn maze.
The following activities are planned both days:
- 11 a.m.: Horse harnessing demonstration
- Noon-3 p.m.: Mobile Learning Center: a natural and cultural history of Michigan
- Noon-4 p.m.: World of Bees with John Beemer
- 1-3 p.m.: Pumpkin painting and more at the Kids Craft Corner (a nominal fee will be charge)
- 1-3 p.m.: Traditional carpentry demonstrations
- 1, 2, and 3 p.m.: Apple cider making demonstrations
- Noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.: Rosco the Clown featuring "Ballooon Man"
- Noon-4 p.m.: Horse-drawn hayrides to the pumpkin patch. Adults, $5; children 3-13 and seniors, $3. Wheelchair-accessible. Pumpkins priced according to size.
